There Three Stages of Sonship

Spiritual Babes in Christ - The Immature - They relate to Christ as the Lamb - Diet is Milk

1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.

2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.

2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

The first stage of sonship is babes in Christ. They are immature and have milk for their diet. They focus mostly on the kindness of the Lord. They only see one side of the Lord. Spiritual Children of God - Mature - They relate to Christ as the Lion - Diet is Meat

16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

The next progression of sonship is spiritual children of God. They are mature but not fully their diet is meat. The spiritual children focus on Christ as the Lion of God. Spiritual Sons of God - The Fully Mature - They relate to the Lord as Lion and Lamb of God - Diet is Strong Meat

12  But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God
