Pre-Adamic World con't
5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:

1 Behold, the Lord maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof.

Being cast down to the ground called earth Lucifer in his rage set out to destroy the perfect earth. That earth stood out of water and in water, because of both the animal and plant life. The atmosphere was filled with the water to sustain the life. The plants needed more moisture and so did the animals. Lucifer became known by the new name Satan and being cast to the earth he and his angels went forth to take harmony from the earth. According to Isaiah 14:17 Lucifer made the earth as a wilderness and destroyed the cities therein. Through sheer rage Lucifer, who now had become Satan with his horde of fallen angels begin to destroy the cities and make what was the paradise of God the perfect earth a wasteland and wilderness. This so then provoked God to act and He did three things.

7 Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because he was wroth.
8 There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.
9 He bowed the heavens also, and came down: and darkness was under his feet.
10 And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: yea, he did fly upon the wings of the wind.
11 He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round about him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies.
12 At the brightness that was before him his thick clouds passed, hail stones and coals of fire.
13 The Lord also thundered in the heavens, and the Highest gave his voice; hail stones and coals of fire.
14 Yea, he sent out his arrows, and scattered them; and he shot out lightnings, and discomfited them.
15 Then the channels of waters were seen, and the foundations of the world were discovered at thy rebuke, O Lord, at the blast of the breath of thy nostrils.

God came from the heaven to the earth and fought with the inhabitants of the earth. The earth shook and trembled the very foundations of mountains were shaken at His fierce anger. Smoke from His nostrils and fire from His mouth as He fly toward earth on a cherub and the wings of the Spirit. He covered Himself with darkness, dark waters and a thick clouds of the skies. Out of the thick dark cloud came forth His brightness and He thundered in the heavens and from His voice came hailstones and coals of fire. He shot out arrows and scattered them and He shot out lightnings and troubled them. The channels of waters were seen and the foundations of the world were discovered and He covered the earth with waters as with a garment and they the waters stood above the mountains.
God blew on the water and caused the Ice Age
15 Then the channels of waters were seen, and the foundations of the world were discovered at thy rebuke, O Lord, at the blast of the breath of thy nostrils.

God sealed up the sun and the stars
5 Which removeth the mountains, and they know not: which overturneth them in his anger.
6 Which shaketh the earth out of her place, and the pillars thereof tremble.
7 Which commandeth the sun, and it riseth not; and sealeth up the stars.

23 I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.

After God came down scattered the inhabitants He flooded the earth with water and world perished He blew upon it and froze it and commanded the sun to not rise and sealed up the stars thus the ice age. After a long period of time He blew again on the earth and thawed it and remade it placing Adam over it as His custodian.
